Creative slumps

Sometimes when I’m stuck, I pick up the “Wreck this journal” by Keri Smith. There is something rather nice about having someone else tell you what to create (but without any guidelines). I bought it a long time ago to try to help cure a creative slump. But I ended up owning it for a long time without even starting, it was just standing on the shelf untouched, like a testament to my lack of inspiration (and also to my tendency to compare myself and my creativity with others, as I had looked up online what others filled their journal with which also stopped me). But one day I picked it up and just started. And I guess that’s the most important thing about creativity and creating. To just get started!
